UPDATE AT A GLANCE!

I would love to be able to put the last nine months of life on here but that would take way to long! I will post some of our highlights though. I just want to take the time to say how thankful I am for this season. I am so thankful for family and friends and the miracles that we receive each day. I am so grateful that I have the opportunity to go to school and a sister-in-law so willing to watch my babies for me. It wouldn't be possible without her. I am enjoying school, like always there is good days and bad days! So far I haven't failed any tests that is good! I haven't ruined anybodies hair that is even better! Our children are growing and amazing us every day. Julia turned 9 and Kaige turned 6 in September. Jessica and I both got drawn for deer and antelope and we both filled our tags. Yes her deer is quite larger than mine! She worked hard for it, following her father around hiking for a week she deserved it!!! Tessa turned 11 on the 13th of December!
Jessica, Tessa, Julia and Kaige played soccer this summer and we spent a lot of time at the lake and camping!

Happy Birthday Brocko!

What can I say about Brock? He is the funniest usually happiest kid ever. He can make me laugh no matter what. You can almost count on if he opens his mouth he is going to say something funny. He is (one) of the highlights of my life.
He loves:
Scary movies
Talking
Getting rides with Dad on anything fast
Playing with his little sister and big brother
Tormenting all of his siblings
Anything sweet
Pirates (he calls them captains)
Fishing
Hunting
Playing Cowboys
Wrestling his dad
Holding his pee till the very last minute!!!!
Watching westerns
MY LITTLE PIECE OF HEAVEN
Thanks to our friends and family for another special birthday! We love you!

Another snow mobile day

So we had the opportunity to go ride snow machines again ('cause we never lack any snow). we took our friends Jessica and Eddie with us, it was a lot of fum. Ed took his snowboard and Aaron would take him to the top of a hill and he would board down, beats paying for a lift ticket! Of course I left my camera at the truck so, no pictures. We Stayed and built a fire and had tin foil dinners!! The best ever. I know we have said that Reidhead's can sleep anywhere, anytime, anyhow! Here is more proof. Julia crashed while waiting for her food it. it was a long day day, but wow what a place to sleep! We also got to experience a few sobee bombs. The Reidhead brothers did this when they were up here working last winter and shared their experiment with us!!! ENJOY!!!

OOPS!!!

SOOO, I was just going to give the boys a haircut! My friend (who went to school) told me to just use the clippers on the boys it would be easier and faster than using scissors like I always do. So today I tried it. Well I didn't ask her what # guard to use and so Kaige ended up pretty much bald and so I moved up one size for Brock (still too short). At least on his I learned a little and just did a little spot first, then I moved to an even bigger guard!! His is actually a bit longer it is just so blond you can't tell.
So anyways the ironic part of it all is that Kaige has been wanting his hair cut like his dads but Aaron keeps saying "no," "maybe in the summer," "I don't think your head is round enough," "If I had as much hair as you I wouldn't shave mine," (you get the point). So I totally did not mean to do it, but it's a little late now!! Can't wait till Aaron sees it!! Keep me in your prayers!

Kayla?

Yes, Kayla did this. Sometimes she disappears by herself and does some interesting things. This day I walked into my bathroom and obviously she had been very busy. She loves lining things up, whatever it is. I thought this was pretty interesting!! Notice she did bring the cars in, in her doll stroller, at least it gets used for something!

Happy 3rd Birthday Kayla

I am a little slow on posting so here it goes catch up time!!
Our little princess Kayla had her 3rd Birthday on the third of March they were calling it the square root day 3/3/09 and it was her third pretty cool I thought!
Kayla is so much fun in our family we are so glad that we were blessed with another little girl even though she came a little sooner than we had anticipated another child. She definitely has the attitude of the last child - spoiled rotten. Aaron insist she needs to be kicked out of our bed and she insist she is not going anywhere!! No matter if she starts in her bed (or on the floor with the boys) it doesn't take long before she wiggles her way in right between Aaron and I. I LOVE IT!
Aaron got her some make-up for her birthday I was totally against it, I have to clean up the messes! The picture of her with make-up on is the lovely job her daddy did. She had a great party thanks to all of our adopted family up here, it wouldn't be the same if we didn't have a house full of people for a birthday party. Another fun tradition the kids love is they get to get on family fun website and pick out what cake they want (usually), this fits her perfect she loves to eat like a litle piggy and makes the cutest pig noises. We also had to do her party a couple days early because I had to do the Relief Society Birthday party on her birthday and we couldn't do the day after because Aaron and Jessica have to go to Mutual. Yes Aaron got another calling as the second counselor in the Y.M. presidency. Anyways here are the birthday pictures.

Happy Valentines Day

Nicole and I did a Valentine's Dinner for our kids last year since we were "single" and it was so much fun I have decided (and Nicole too) to keep it a tradition. Unfortunately we aren't close enough to do it together but it was still fun. Here is last years picture

Here is this years picture, (Kaige had his friend Colton over to spend the night with us)

My sweet valentine babies of course I had to take their picture on Sunday when they were all dressed nice and neat for church, ( why do it two or three days in a row, right?)

I had fun doing all their hair the same way even Kayla got the same doo minus the braid. I Thought it was cute and that I would share it in case anyone is looking for new ideas like I always am. lol

Back to Reality

We had so much fun hopefully my family has some better pictures, my camera did not like the humidity and my lcd screen took a dump on me. The weather was a little colder than I had hoped for but wouldn't trade the experience for anything. Thanks Mom & Doug for a great time. Thanks to everyone who watched my kids for us, we are greatly indebted!! Lol

This was pretty crazy took Blair a little while to get his nerve up. Then I tried it and the kid that was helping us held my hand and ran down with me. My family said it was a good thing 'cause I started leaning backwards and he had to pull me, the trick was to lean forward and just walk as the water was pushing you down it was a lot trickier than it looked. I wanted to run. It was fun though! It's a good thing I guess that Aaron pushes me to try things. I didn't want to go snorkeling because it was kind of cold and I don't care for the salt water, but I did it and now I am hooked. It is the most beautful thing ever, we could see forever and so many fish and different colors. I felt like I was swimming in a fish tank. We are planning our next trip already!!

Happy Birthday Aaron & Hello Caribbean

Just wanted to say Happy Birthday to My Husband!! We will be getting on the cruise ship on his birthday (1-31-09). We are so excited (he is a little nervous)! For those who don't know, my mom is taking all of her kids (and their spouses) on a cruise to the West Caribbean. We are so excited. Aaron has never been on a plane and surely not a cruise ship (either one of us). My family is probably tired of me calling every other day to ask more questions. I look forward to spending time with my brother and sisters and my mom, and alone time with Aaron!!! Aaron's mom is going to come stay with our kids. She may not be too happy with us once she is here for a week in the -0 weather, now I know she really loves us!! Thanks Sue you are the best. The kids are so excited to have their Grandma coming to stay with them.

BIRTHDAYS

Tessa turned double digits on December 13 the big 10. Thanks to Aunt Nicole for the cute cake!! She had a very special birthday this year. She will never forget getting to celebrate Grandpa Sandall's life and her birthday on the same day. Thank you to my family for letting me throw something else in on that day! Tessa is such a bright girl we are so proud of her.

Then there is Jessica, turning the huge 12 on January 6. I threw a last minute surprise party for her and when I say last minute I mean it. I sent her to school then decided to call all her friends parents and tell them what my plan was, probably better that way I always seem to ruin surprises!!! Her birthday was on Tuesday so she got to go to mutual on Wednesday she was nervous but had a great time and now she gets to go do baptisms for the dead this weekend. She is such a sweet girl and yes mom is sad that she is growing up so fast, but she was impressed I didn't cry (yet)! I am so blessed to have such wonderful healthy children.
